Description:
BuanterNet is the fiber optic internet service of PT Dwi Tunggal Putra (DTP), a telecommunications service provider established in 1974 according to the company profile. It is offered to business and office customers and is available in two forms, Dedicated Internet Access and Broadband Internet Access.
Dedicated Internet Access is described by the company as a non-stop, 24-hour service. The company profile specifies a 1:1 access bandwidth ratio for this service and lists bandwidth monitoring through MRTG. Broadband Internet Access is a 24-hour internet service delivered over fiber optic. Both forms are aimed at organizations that need an internet connection for their offices, and they differ in the features the company lists for each.
The company lists BuanterNet points of presence in several cities across Java, including the Jakarta area. Coverage at a specific address can be confirmed with the vendor.
BuanterNet is one of several services from DTP. Other DTP offerings are listed separately and have their own features, so the details in this description apply to BuanterNet only. DTP describes its work as focused on VSAT based communications integrated with datacenter services, while BuanterNet is its fiber based internet offering for business and office use.
DTP states its vision as providing reliable telecommunications services and digital infrastructure in Indonesia, with a focus on innovation, equitable access and service quality, in support of national connectivity including remote areas. Its mission is to deliver high-quality internet and satellite network services that reach all segments of society and businesses, strengthen communication infrastructure in frontier, outermost and underdeveloped regions, and ensure operational reliability through efficient and sustainable technologies.
These details come from the company’s own materials, and terms and equipment can change over time. In short, BuanterNet offers 24-hour fiber optic internet for business and office use, in dedicated and broadband forms.
