Description:
BuanterOne is a low earth orbit (LEO) satellite internet service for Indonesia, brought by PT Dwi Tunggal Putra (DTP) in collaboration with Eutelsat OneWeb. The company presents it as high speed, low latency space internet. According to its profile, the service combines satellite technology with local expertise to deliver high-quality connectivity, help bridge the digital divide, and provide reliable internet access across areas of Indonesia.
LEO satellites orbit much closer to Earth than geostationary satellites, and the company links this closeness to low latency, which it says opens the way for demanding applications. The service is described as having global coverage and a multi-terminal design, so one network can be reached with several different kinds of equipment.
The user terminal range includes the OW50SL, OW70L, OW11FL, OW10HL, Hawk U8 and Hughes HL1120W. The range covers dual parabolic, single parabolic and flat panel designs. Alongside the terminals, BuanterOne also offers service plans, so customers can combine equipment and plan to suit their site.
The company lists use cases for businesses and government organizations, including cellular backhaul, enterprise systems such as ERP, mobility and emergency response, maritime connectivity and Internet of Things deployments.
BuanterOne is one of several connectivity brands run by DTP, a telecommunications service provider established in 1974 according to the company profile. DTP focuses on VSAT based communications integrated with datacenter services. Its stated vision is to provide reliable telecommunications services and digital infrastructure in Indonesia, with a focus on innovation, equitable access and service quality, including remote areas. Its mission is to deliver high-quality internet and satellite network services that reach all segments of society and businesses, strengthen communication infrastructure in frontier, outermost and underdeveloped regions, and ensure operational reliability through efficient and sustainable technologies. Equipment and plan details can be confirmed with the vendor for each site.
